Get ready to kick off your Leadership Development Program! 

Forget everything you previously learned about leadership and join us with an open mind. You are here today to create and build a future that excites you, to invest in your growth, sharpen your skills, and land the role you truly deserve. 

Let’s dive in.

This is your first assignment in the program. To complete it, you'll be working on seven different tasks over just 10 business days. This is a fast-paced, self-learning journey designed to build your personalized Leadership Development Plan (LDP) and reveal your unique leadership identity. To get the most out of it, we recommend setting aside at least two hours each day for focused reflection.

Your Toolkit: 

Here’s everything you'll need to succeed:

  • Your trusty laptop and a solid internet connection.
  • Your Gmail account (because Google Sheets is our task hub).
  • Access to an AI tool is a huge plus to help you brainstorm and crush your goals.
  • A really quiet and comfortable space for your reflection. 
  • Your flow & focus. Both are skills critical for all leaders. This is where you enjoy the task at  hand and you completely forget about time; sounds familiar?.


Your Assignment Command Center: One Google Sheet:

For this entire assignment, we're keeping it simple and organized. You'll use just one Google Sheet, think of it as your personal command center. For each new task, you'll open a brand new tab, not a new sheet.

Pro tip: Google Sheets saves your work automatically, so you can focus entirely on the work. Just make sure to set the right sharing and security permissions on your document before you submit. It's your work, so you're in charge of its security!

Each time you submit your work: 

  1. Click the "Share" button in the top right corner.
  2. Change the sharing setting from "Restricted" to "Anyone with the link."
  3. Set the access to "Editor."
  4. Click "Copy link" and paste it into the designated submission portal or email it to the provided address.

Your Roadmap: The 7-Task Journey: 

This is your roadmap to building the first draft of your Leadership Development Plan (LDP). You'll complete a total of seven tasks, each one building on the last. We'll give you access to each task in the provided sequence.

Here’s the recommended timeline (don't worry, weekends are for resting and recharging!):

  • Task 1: 1 day
  • Task 2: 1 day
  • Task 3: 2 days
  • Task 4: 2 days
  • Task 5: 1 day
  • Task 6: 1 day
  • Task 7: 2 days

Every task is designed to be a guided adventure. We will not reveal more on what each task entails because we want to introduce you to the baby-step approach. This will teach you how powerful it is to focus on one task at a time in completing big and complex projects. It will always include:

  1. An Intro to give you a brief about the task.
  2. A brief Audio Guide to walk you through the instructions and provide additional insights. Please use this as a helping tool, but be sure to read all the instructions for full clarity.
  3. The Purpose behind this task; what makes it important for your growth.
  4. A clear Process to guide you through completing the task from start to finish.
  5. The Work to Submit so you know exactly what to accomplish.
